@Muse Arts Warehouse - Loop It Up Savannah

On April 18, the YMCA presented the quilts already finished at the Muse Arts Warehouse.

These are some of the quilts and pictures that were shown on that day.

On the other side of the room, there were this other quilts and drawings made by the kids.

The kids posed for us to take them the picture.

At the end of the exhibition, the event was a success. Some of my classmates helped selling some of the cards and envelopes with some pictures and drawings of the kids. The quilts were finally finished and presented to the public. Everybody's effort made it possible to finish the quilts.

Quilts Finished!

I want to share with all how was the presentation of the quilts after finishing them. It was a fantastic day where we could see how our work helped to make the quilts.

Here we can see some finished quilts, and how they were showed.

Here we can see another two more quilts. Andres and I helped Tina to do the white quilt with the sun and the rainbow.

Lastly, here we can see the boys that created the story of the quilts.

Citizen Advocacy Covered Dish Event & Story Quilt Exhibit

Thursday May 10, I've enjoyed the celebration in Savannah Station called Citizen Advocacy Covered Dish Event & Story Quilt Exhibit. I arrived at 5PM. while the people was coming.
In mints my friends came

Then I saw an old man he looks interesting in my beard. Once I started talk to him he started to talk about Arabic dishes that he likes. He introduced me an architect he graduated from scad two quarters ago.

After that, we got inside and we found the quilts that YMCA made.

Then we sat on the tables and listened to some speeches of officials and elders.
